| Canon: Dorothy is sent from Romefellar to keep an eye on Relena in Sank. While scoffing at Relena's belief in absolute pacifism, Dorothy seems to carry a lot of respect for the young princess herself. |
| Fandom: Dorothy's most popular pairing, with the possible exception of 4xD. Despite the fact that these two girls are bashed far more heavily then any other characters, they make up one of the most popular shoujo-ai pairings. Many fans see Dorothy's apparent respect and admiration for Relena as hints of some deeper emotion. | Pros:
1. Relena listens and responds to Dorothy's criticisms about absolute pacifism. 2. Dorothy gets Duke Dermail out of the way so Relena can present her plan to Romefellar without opposition. 3. Dorothy tends to gush about Relena, although it's hard to tell if she's serious. |

1. According to fansubs, Dorothy is much crueler to Relena, even calling her a nerd at one point. 2. Dorothy locks Relena up on Libra after Relena refuses Dorothy's offer to kill her brother. 3. THey have very different views on politics, particularly absolute pacifism. |
| My Thoughts: Ever heard of the saying 'opposites attract?' Dorothy and Relena are perfect examples. Despite their dramatically different world views, I truly believe that the two girls care for one another. Dorothy's strength and cynicism complement Relena's idealism and leadership abilities wonderfully. This is one of my favorite Dorothy pairings, and my favorite yuri one. |
